Top 5 Rolex Watches For Women

For a woman looking for a Rolex, there are many options for combinations of metals, dial styles, and case sizes. Rolex creates many watches specifically for a woman’s wrist, although larger case sizes still fit. Another benefit of a ladies Rolex is that most are fitted with an automatic movement, except for some models like a manual wind Cellini or Oysterquartz.

Ladies Oyster Perpetual

The Ladies Oyster Perpetual is one of the most well-known models from the brand. In fact, it was worn in an attempt to swim across the English Channel in 1927 by Mercedes Gleitze, a British professional swimmer. While you can find some older Oyster Perpetual ladies watches available in two-tone, today, this model is strictly made in Oystersteel.

While the metal may have only one option in modern watches, the size is more versatile. In 2020, the 26mm Oyster Perpetual was discontinued. Ladies sizes for new models are currently 28mm and 31mm. Rolex also offers the model in 36mm or 41mm if you prefer a larger case. If you are looking for older or vintage models, you can find the Oyster Perpetual in the 24mm or 26mm size.

This collection is one of the more colorful in terms of dial options. In 2020, a launch of candy-colored pink, red, yellow, turquoise, and green, alongside classic silver and black.

Today, the Lady-Datejust 31 is the only model outside of the Day-Date collection that is offered on this style bracelet. The Pearlmaster is a unique model from Rolex, specifically with women in mind, although there are a few men’s models. These watches are only available in gold or platinum, and every model has some sort of diamond integrated. Rolex created a special Pearlmaster bracelet for the launch of the collection in 1992. It features a 5-piece design in high polish.

Looking closely at the dial, you’ll see that the Pearlmaster is labeled Datejust. While the two share the same date window, the Pearlmaster is its own model with different case sizes and unique bracelets.

Current production Rolex Pearlmaster models feature a fully gem-set dial, bezel, and bracelet in white gold or Everose gold and are available in 34mm or 39mm. Previous models of the Pearlmaster have not always been so diamond-encrusted, opting for a gem-set bezel over a full case. The 29mm Pearlmaster was discontinued in 2015. You can also find certain versions of the Pearlmaster with different gem-set bezel colors such as sapphire and rubies.
